Winding your way along Oregon’s Scenic Coast Highway 101, you’ll discover spectacular vistas around every twist and turn. The Oregon coast is 363 miles of some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world.

Quaint seaside villages are nestled between rugged cliffs and blustery lookouts. Bald eagles soar high above the Yaquina Head Lighthouse - one of 11 historic lighthouses along the Oregon coast. Whales spout and breach as they make their way along the Pacific coast during their twice-yearly migration, often congregating in Depoe Bay, the self-proclaimed whale-watching capital of Oregon. With dozens of beautiful state parks, there are plenty of places to stop and take in the landscape, camp or hike, explore a tide pool, ride a dune buggy, or simply savor a sunset.  

With a bounty of amazing seafood harvested locally, coastal restaurants, cafés, wineries, and breweries celebrate the catch of the day with a delicious array of culinary treats. Dungeness crab, halibut, albacore tuna, Dover sole, and Chinook salmon are just some of the seafood caught in the cold waters off of the Oregon coast. Located at the northern end of Tillamook Bay, the quaint fishing village of Garibaldi is a fantastic place to watch the commercial fishermen bring in their daily catch or hop aboard the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad and take in the seaside views from a historic steam locomotive.

Whether you’re kayaking the tranquil waters of the Tillamook Bay, surfing a wave in Newport, gallery hopping in Cannon Beach, or gazing up at the Annual Kite Festival in Lincoln City - the Oregon coast has something for everyone.
